"Borderlands 2" is an over-the-top romp of a game that is at its absolute over-the-top best when it's played with other people. But playing well with others isn't always easy. Gearbox You may think that the best thing about "Borderlands 2" is the guns. And, well, you might be right. At least in part. Like the first (much loved) "Borderlands" game, "Borderlands 2" is a first-person-shooter/role-playing mashup that finds players on a distant planet, scooping up a stunning array of guns (there are "millions and millions" of them) that must then be used to take on a wildly colorful host of bad guys and even badder creatures. But give this game some real playtime and you'll discover that, like the first "Borderlands," what really makes "Borderlands 2" tic...

    Pros

Benefits (simply cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

    Cons

Cantankerous Selling is the only focus at present, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should affair only if the cross selling results are not meeting the always ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job adjacent month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cantankerous selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!

  4. Current Employee, less than 1 yr

    Pros

The culture hither is phenomenal. The message is all nearly how the people make the difference and the company is very focused on developing employees. The routines set up in place to reinforce the behaviors are phenomenal. Resources bachelor to leaders for improving coaching fashion are endless! They accept even taken external leadership theories and incorporated those into the resources and training available. Highly engaged and talented people work hither, making it a swell place to network and grow.

    Cons

Some systems are a bit antiquated, but to be honest I'd prefer that over flashy stuff that glitches out all the time. Time off is not very competitive, and it doesn't increase with positions that have more responsibility, it merely increases with years worked at the visitor. No fully comprehensive health programme, but they do offer a company funded HSA with one of the plans.

  5. Current Employee, more than than 3 years

    Pros

The reason why people become sucked into Wells Fargo and don't want to leave is because of their benefits. It's really hard to crush 144 hours of PTO starting out with it increasing on year 3, v, 10, and so on. I'm add-on to that, 2 personal holidays, all federal holidays off (depending on your department), and 16 hours of volunteer time. Health insurance is nifty. Bereavement time is great. Short-term/Long-term disability is with Lincoln Financial and it's smashing. Maternity get out at sixteen weeks, 100% paid is phenomenal.

    Cons

The nigh micromanaged visitor I've ever worked for. Every detail of your day, every move y'all brand is monitored, recorded, and tracked. They don't allow employees to breathe. They also are not very family unit friendly. They're not like a pocket-size company who understands if an emergency happens and you need to exit or if your kid is sick and you need to go, information technology'due south an occurrence. Based on your department they are non work from domicile flexible. They are pushing anybody to return to the role. Training is never sufficient. They either run out of time to teach y'all things or they don't cover the bare minimum knowledge you should know.

  6. Pros

Good introduction to consumer lending and cyberbanking in general. The visitor promotes diversity and promoting from inside besides equally encouraging feedback via suggestions through a portal. The visitor offers and encourages employees join their mentorship program. Yous are able to ask questions from management and allowed time to larn and grow in your position. Company has excellent benefits and good pay for support positions.

    Cons

Training program is broad and generalized. Did not focus enough on all daily functions to set up for position. Funding can be delayed if applications are held up in other departments for review and clearance. The electronic application organization is dated and often has glitches which can significantly delay funding applications. Tedious and outdated systems can cause delays which make it harder to meet daily quota. Extensive training modules must be completed for all employees due to oversight by government agencies caused by by company practices that violated manufacture standards. Company has less than stellar reputation due to aforementioned disprepancies.

  7. Pros

PTO is nice and four months of maternity leave. Mon - Friday, 8-5p standard schedule. Straight manager is astonishing

    Cons

Facilitators are paid less than the industry standard. There is no bonus opportunity. We are asked to work on site but to keep to perform our role most from a small cubicle.

  8. Quondam Employee, more than 3 years

    Pros

Wells Fargo'southward retail cyberbanking environment depends pretty heavily on your management, just I got lucky and nigh of my managers over the years were very good, although a bad manager will absolutely ruin your time there. Luckily, it's adequately like shooting fish in a barrel to apply for open positions at different branches. Wells Fargo benefits were great. I loved the corporeality of PTO I had every twelvemonth and all national holidays paid. I felt respected at that place and that I e'er had room to grow and larn.

    Cons

Company is constantly changes expectations and rules in order to await ease regulatory pressure. Many of our client interactions were fairly scripted and you lot are required to read a lot of things verbatim, which creates a very simulated experience . Additionally, I submitted my ii week notice and was terminated the same twenty-four hours rather than being immune to work for two weeks. I as told I would exist paid for the ii weeks, merely have not yet and accept had to make multiple hour plus telephone calls to HR to seek resolution. If you work for Wells and are leaving, and then but quit aforementioned day, visitor wants the courtesy of a notice, but merely walked me when I gave 1 with no pay.

  9. Current Employee, more than one year

    Pros

Wells Fargo offers an interesting experience for customer service. In my experience so far yous get to interact with a broad range of diverse people and bang-up co-workers. I do enjoy the basics of the work and get satisfaction from profitable others in their daily lives.

    Cons

Management and cooperate are past far the worst aspects of this position then far. Information technology usually starts as a new cooperate directive that adds onto the already extensive rolls and responsibilities that tellers and bankers already have to contend with. This creates an ever expanding list of things are required for nearly every interaction to avoid scrutiny from managers. Leading to the nearly impossible expectation of fitting lots of scripted dialogue into a simple transaction. Then normally leads to customer growing bellyaching or only board during these interaction, which leads to worse customer service. At the moment Wells Fargo is struggling to hire and retain staff due to intense demands and relatively low pay for corporate'due south/managing director always increasing loftier expectations. To cover this current moment of weakness Wells Fargo is going to heavily button their digital app and start discouraging customers with simpler transactions from entering branches. The eventual goal is to downsize and have a permanent skeleton coiffure that can barely handle customers entering into whatever physical branches that remain open.

  10. Current Employee, more than 1 year

    Pros

Very corking benefits- makes it hard to leave. Lots of independence but management is forcing people to piece of work in role once more, which is upsetting. We get paid off of loan fundings and with such strict underwriting sometimes it's hard to get a loan to close, just when you exercise it's a nice little pay check! And there's lots of opportunity since we take entering calls.

    Cons

Things are slowing downward. Accept to exercise a lot of processing piece of work, while you are paid on a minimum wage salary, so it feels a little unfair.

    Pros

As near reviewers mentioned my direct manager is wonderful. I work in 60 minutes and near all of my peers are also great to work with.

    Cons

I take worked in HR for 5 years and we are on our 3rd Main Hour Officer. Each of the hires have been external, they come in change everything and leave. Senior leaders recall an external candidate is going to fix everything when at that place are internal qualified candidates who have been hither a long time and have more insight and are dedicated to the company. I likewise accept seen this over and over again in my group, hiring external when internal candidates are qualified. And then there is a lack of career growth and opportunity. Some other frustrating issue is that we follow Depository financial institution of America for our policy decisions. Over and over again.
